A Study on Laminar Numerical Simulation of an Enclosure Fire

Report Date: March 2010

To better develop extinguishing systems, NRIFD used numerical techniques to analyze fire phenomena. In this study, a series of numerical computations are carried out using a classical numerical scheme and an appropriate set of initial and boundary conditions to obtain a unique solution. The effect of grid size on solutions is explored.
