Report of the Investigation of a Wooden Buildings Fire in Aikawa, Sado-City in January, 2008

On January 14, 2008, a large fire occurred in a densely populated are of Sado-City. The fire spread was fueled by a strong wind. The investigation results showed some difficulties in the firefighting activities and the importance of preventing fire spread in this situation.
